We love learning through stories! Our Early Years pupils have been exploring 'The Squirrels Who Squabbled' through a lot of different hands-on activities. From searching for leaves in glittery water and making squirrel food with playdough, to counting, painting and building squirrel houses, the story has provided a wonderful starting point for learning across the curriculum. By bringing stories to life in this way, chidlren can develop their language, maths, creativity, fine motor skills and understanding of the world- all while having fun, exploring and using their imaginations. 🐿📚🌰

This week, The Linden Academy came together for our annual Lindenbury Mini Festival and Summer Fête, one of our highlights of the school year. Children enjoyed an afternoon packed with fun, including games, bouncy castles, music, hair braiding, face and glitter tattoos, and a fantastic selection of food. A particular highlight was seeing many of our pupils take on the role of young entrepreneurs, running their own stalls after school for parents, carers and friends. It was wonderful to see their creativity, confidence and enterprise on display while our school community came together to celebrate another successful year. A huge thank you to everyone who came along to support the event, as well as our dedicated staff, volunteers and everyone who helped make the day such a success.

Well done to all of our pupils for their hard work and achievements this week! 👏 A special congratulations to Blossom Class, Birch Class and Elder Class for their excellent attendance, all achieving 97% or above. Well done also to Pegasus House for taking the lead in this week's house point standings, while Phoenix House continues to hold onto the overall termly lead. Fantastic work, everyone – keep it up! ⭐
